that’s what little girls are made of.

she’s having a baby. a girl. my sister-in-law. she’s pregnant. really pregnant. and beaming. and beautiful. and to celebrate the anticipation of that baby girl coming into this world we gathered, as a family, and threw a very sweet (and pink) baby shower. of course to spoil her rotten. the baby that is. well, maybe a little of both. and of course you know i took pictures of all the perfect little details. i cannot resist when it comes to curled ribbon, bows and darling gift bags. to.die.for.

and beckie, i wish you so much happiness. you are truly a beautiful woman and pregnancy looks so good on you. i cannot wait for you to cash in those gift cards (who gave them to you by the way?) to have that gorgeous belly photographed. not to mention that squishy faced baby when she arrives. she will be squishy faced you know. and i am going to smooch the heck out of her.

it’s hard to believe. one year. these pictures were taken almost exactly one year apart. and one year ago. i cherish each and every single moment i am given. these pictures are proof that time does truly pass you by in the blink of an eye.
